Luke 14:12-14 ESV / 7
He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”
This morning as I sit at my desk watching the sunrise, I’m truly blown away at the GREATNESS OF ALMIGHTY GOD. I would be
INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST if I didn’t say the past 19 months have been a bit of a struggle as it has been for many. I think about how weak my flesh really is but at the same time I know that God is in control. I tell our mission teams that it’s extremely important that we be flexible and allow God to lead and guide. I have to admit that sometimes I think God needs my help.
Today we kick off our 2021 “Manna Fest” campaign. I praise God for HIS provisions that have allowed BWCM to provide food to villages and schools in the Somotillo area. Now we would like to “LOVE DEEPER” by providing Manna bags to families. Each $10.00 bag will feed a family of 6 for a week. In the past we have used these bags at Christmas to go door-to-door and share the Gospel. This year we will distribute them as soon as we have the resources. Once we have received $1000.00 we will assemble 100 Manna Fest bags and start the distribution. Please pray for God’s guidance.
