Good morning and blessings from Casa de Gillette.   I have to join many in wondering where 2012 has gone.  Pam and I have actually been home for almost 2 weeks enjoying family, friends and beautiful central Virginia.  With school buses moving through the neighborhood and the news reporting on football games, there is no doubt that Fall is just around the corner.

Pam and I began praying late last year that GOD would stretch and expand BWCM’s outreach throughout Nicaragua and Honduras.  God certainly surpassed our every expectation and desire.  This year alone we have joined with almost 500 missionaries in sharing the love of GOD and serving the people of the Chinandega Department.  This fall we will host several teams that are looking to partner with BWCM and begin serving in Nicaragua.  In 2013 we plan to take a couple teams to Honduras to serve with some of the pastors that we have been teaching this year.

Next month we will begin our  Manna Fest campaign for Christmas 2012.  I always try to do this in September and October to beat the holiday rush.   Once again this year we will be distributing food bags to needy families in the Somotillo area during the Christmas season.  One food bag only costs $10.00 and will feed a family of six for a week.  Pam and I are going to be in the states some during that time and would love to share with your church or organization what GOD is doing through this feeding program.

On May 17, 2013 Pam and I will be leading a team to “The Holy Land.”  God has allowed me to make several trips there through the years and is now leading me to do this one more time.  Working with a travel agent in Atlanta, Georgia, we have been able to put together a very exciting 9-day trip at an affordable price.  If you’re interested in joining us, please email me and I’ll get the information to you.

If you go to our website (www.bwcm.org) you will notice that we have already begun to fill our 2013 calendar.  I would like to encourage all our team leaders to be praying about the dates that GOD would have you come to Nicaragua and then let me know as soon as you can.  We truly want to accommodate everyone but we do reserve dates on a first-come first-serve basis.

We are praying about a new, smaller bus so that we can expand our ministry into Corinto, Chinandga and Leon.  This past summer we used our school bus to do ministry in Corinto, but cost of transportation in the school bus has hindered us from reaching out past the Somotillo area.  With a smaller bus we could expand our ministry, improve the travel from Managua and be better stewards of God’s money.  Please join us in praying for God’s provisions.

Over the next few weeks Pam and I will be changing our email addresses.   PAMMIE:  pamela@bwcm.org    DONALD:  donald@bwcm.org     Due to the fact that several people (hackers) have decided to use my email I thought it best to make a change even though change is not easy at my age.  Funny thing is that I kept changing my password and the hackers were the only ones that could remember it.  I won’t end the AOL account until Jan. 1st so that everyone will have plenty of time to make the change.

PLEASE continue to pray for Pam and I as we return to Nicaragua next Wednesday.  In His Hands, Donald and Pammie

For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me
